The Future Of Information Marketing
Information marketing is BIG now, real big. It is only going to get bigger and bigger, as more and more people reach out to the growing online and offline sources available to them. This includes libraries, bookstores, institutions of higher learning and television and radio. People are always going to be looking for answers, solutions to problems, for the questions they have. Information is the answer, the solution.
Let me say that again, right, or correct information is the answer and solution to what people want. From how do I heat my home, to how can I stop the bank from foreclosing on the very same home. Getting the correct information, and getting it succinctly to the people wanting that information is what drives society today.
It has driven society, people, ever since Ug first pointed at the bush of berries he saw to his mate Uggette.
Ug, “Mmmmmm, ohh, ooh!”
Uggette, “Mmm, mmmm, BURP!”
Until the lights go out on civilization as we know it, information marketing will continue to be the go to industry for innovative and savvy business people.
Where is information marketing headed? Just look back a few years ago; cellphones, wireless internet, these things were the stuff of science-fiction! Who would have thought that Spock’s, or was it McCoy’s tricorder thingie would be the virtual shape of things to come?
Now, all over the world, people in search of where to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner are using the devices, these “tricorders” to access information! Iphones, Blackberries, even Androids! What are these devices enabling? Information delivery, and poised on the forefront of this, the information marketer…
